The Committee focuses on the intersection between gender and mental health
ABOUT OUR COMMITTEE
Our committee examines the role of gender in mental health with a focus on women. We consider the effects of reproductive hormones, social determinants of health, and gender-linked stressors such as financial inequities, interpersonal violence and power differentials.

Increasing maternal mortality in the US
Considerations regarding breastfeeding and mental health
The effects on mental health of recent legislation reducing reproductive rights
Access to care for pregnant people
The effects of COVID on pregnant and minority women
Case book on postpartum disorders
